What we store

Your email address, if you sign in. That is the account - there is no password, because signing in works by emailing you a link.

Anything you type into a submission: product name, link, description, and a logo if you upload one.

Emails you send us and emails we send you, so a conversation has a history.

Analytics

We use PostHog to count page views and see which parts of the site get used. It sets a cookie and records a rough location from your IP address. We do not use it to build a profile of you or sell anything to anyone.

What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with other companies. We do not run advertising trackers. If that ever changes, it will be written here before it happens, and you will be able to leave first.

Who else can see it

The site runs on Amazon Web Services, which stores the data. PostHog receives the analytics events. Email is sent through Amazon SES. That is the full list of third parties.

How long we keep it

Listings and stories stay up until you ask us to remove them. Account records and email history stay until you ask us to delete your account. Analytics events expire on PostHog's own schedule.

Your data, back or gone

Email hello@candidlaunch.com and ask. We will send you what we hold about you, or delete it, within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason and it will not be made awkward.
