Who runs this

Candid Launch is run by one person. There is no company behind it yet, and no support team. Questions go to hello@candidlaunch.com and are answered by the person who built the site.

Submitting a product

You can submit a product you built or work on. By submitting, you confirm you have the right to show its name, description and logo here, and you let us display them on this site and in anything we publish about your launch, including a newsletter.

You keep ownership of everything you submit. You can ask us to remove a listing at any time by emailing us, and we will.

We read every submission by hand and we may decline one. We may also remove a listing later if it turns out to be misleading, broken, or not what it said it was.

What is not allowed

Submitting something you have no connection to. Malware, scams, or anything illegal where you are or where we are. Scraping the site or hammering it with automated requests. Trying to manipulate rankings, votes, or reviews.

Abuse of other people using the site, in any form, in public or over email.

Links

Our link policy is published on the homepage, and it is the whole policy. It will change at some point, and when it does the new rule will be written there before it applies to anyone.

We do not control the sites we link to, and listing a product is not an endorsement of it.

Availability

The site is provided as-is. It may be slow, broken, or gone. We do not promise uptime, and we are not liable for anything you lose by relying on it. If that is not acceptable for your use, do not rely on it.

Changes

These terms can change. Material changes get a note on this page and a new date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

Governing law

TODO: name the governing jurisdiction once the operating entity is settled. Until then, nothing here is intended to remove any right you have under the consumer law that applies where you live.
